light curve it is used to study the brightness of a variable star in time.
For a good light curve many observations are needed. The light curves from
this page are made with my observations and may not be very accurate.
But for a variable star observer a light curve is something very special. It shows the observations made over a period of many years of observing. The light curves from below were made by plotting the observed magnitude
of the variable versus JD (Julian Date). Light curves updated on July
2004.
