Besides my variable star observing I also like to observe deep-sky objects. But observing nebulae, galaxies and globular clusters requiers no light pollution, something that is not possible from Bucharest (a two million people town). That is why I do deep-sky observing when I'm out of Bucharest. And I do not have access to large telescopes when I'm out of town. I use my refractor (100mm, f/7) for my observations. It has the advantage of a big visual field and luminosity.
Deep-sky photography is not for me and I limit myself in drawing deep-sky objects. Below is a collection of deep-sky drawings made by me.
